Today marks the first day operation for the MRT Putrajaya Line Phase 2. Few members from MTREC gathered for a joyride to celebrate the full operation of the MRT Putrajayaa Line.

MRT Putrajaya Line Phase 1 was launched earlier last year on 16 June 2022 stretching from Kwasa Damansara to Kampung Batu. Today it is extended from Kampung Batu to Putrajaya Sentral passing through the city centre introducing more stations and enhancing connectivity.

Participants gathered at Putrajaya Sentral around 14:30 for the countdown and our joyride begins on the first train departing from Putrajaya Sentral towards Kwasa Damansara. Participants then alight at the next stop and took the first train to arrive at Putrajaya Sentral.

On top of the joyride, our participants also visited all the underground stations, exploring each and every of the highly anticipated and unique stations. All the participants were amazed with the spectacular design of the underground station from Chan Sow Lin to Sentul Barat. 

Lastly, our joyride ends at Kentonmen station. It was a fun and tiring day for all our participants, and surely the joyride was not enough for us and we will be back for more. Congratulations to @mmcgamudamrt MRT Corp Rapid KL for successfully launching the MRT Putrajaya Line Phase 2. 

This joyride activity on MRT Putrajaya Line Phase 2 shows a success in our group to promote the use of MRT system and we are looking forward to organising more events in the future to promote the use of the rail system.
