On this day, 8 members from MTREC were invited to DMIA Seremban Depot to join the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Seremban Sentral Station.

The ceremony begins with our national anthem, cultural dance performance, and welcome speech by the Deputy Chairman of DMIA and followed by speech from the Transport Minister, YB Anthony Loke. A concept video showcasing the design and key features of the new Seremban Sentral Station was also presented.

Following this, YB Anthony Loke initiated the groundbreaking ceremony using an excavator, accompanied by the laying of a section of pre-casted track using the S2PV machine as a ceremonial gesture.

Subsequently, we were given a guided tour of the machinery storage area, where the engineering machines such as Tamping Machine, Ballast Regulator, S2PV and McCulloch Track Laying Machines are stabled. Participants were granted access to enter the machines and explore the operation cabins.

Lastly, our visit concluded with a delightful buffet. We would like to extend our gratitude to DMIA and all the personnel involved for inviting us to this ceremony and a brief tour around depot.
